Effective April 1, 2017 NOCHSI will be centralizing its weekend services at its Mexico Health Center. Currently, NOCHSI provides Saturday and Sunday weekend services at its Pulaski Health Center and Saturday hours at its Oswego Health Center. According to Daniel Dey, President and CEO, these hours were not being fully utilized and were not centrally enough located for easy access for all patients among NOCHSI’s six practice locations in Oswego County. According to Dey, “centralizing weekend services at the Mexico Health Center each Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. allows NOCHSI to more efficiently staff and fill available patient slots in a location that is centrally located to all patients”. Dey continued that, “the expanded walk-in hours and centralized weekend services represent additional efforts that NOCHSI has pursued, along with its aggressive provider recruitment to expand access and convenience for it approximately 28,000 patients”. NOCHSI patients are welcome to visit any practice location for walk-in or weekend services.
NOCHSI operates health centers in Fulton, Mexico, Oswego, Parish, Phoenix and Pulaski. It also operates six school-based health centers located in the APW, Mexico, Pulaski and Sandy Creek School Districts.
