Dental Billing Representative

Job Description: ConnextCare, formerly Northern Oswego County Health Services Inc., is seeking a Billing Representative/Payment Poster to add to its Billing department. This position is based in the Pulaski office.

As a Billing Representative/Payment Poster posting Explanations of Benefits and contacting insurance companies to follow up on delinquent claims are core tasks. Following up on denied claims by sending claim status requests to appropriate insurance companies and processing claims for service via websites of insurance companies are major responsibilities of the position as well. Ensuring patient and insurance information is accurately entered into the practice management system, verifying all family member accounts, addresses and insurance information is vital. Explaining insurance coverage, fee schedules, sliding fee, and credit & collection information to patients and answering all dental billing questions are primary functions of this position as well. Works with the Billing Supervisor, Business Office Manager, and collection agency on delinquent accounts. Assist management in compiling necessary information for audits, both internal and those required by outside entities. Prior medical billing experience is preferred.

Facilities Staff - Part-time

Job Description:

ConnextCare is looking to add a part time Facilities Worker its growing team at the Pulaski location.

As a Facilities staff member with ConnextCare you will maintain and clean all areas of the facility including patient rooms, restrooms, hallways and the lobby area. Must be able to vacuum and mop floors, some lifting is required. Small maintenance duties might be necessary. Must be flexible with schedule and able to travel, if necessary, to other sites and be willing to take direction from the Facilities Supervisor. Must be able to work independently, and be aware of self-protection from infection and overall infections control standards, and must be keenly aware of the importance of confidentiality in all aspects of the position. Must comply with organization’s Code of Conduct, safety rules and adhere to all company policies.



Job Requirements: Previous cleaning experience helpful, but not necessary. High school diploma or GED, must be able to work independently and be aware of self-protection from infection and overall infections control.

RN Care Manager

Job Description: ConnextCare, formerly Northern Oswego Health Services, Inc, provides Oswego and Southern Jefferson County residents with a variety of comprehensive health care and related services. ConnextCare is seeking an RN Care Manager to add to its Pulaski Health Center. 

As a Care Manager you will need to have Knowledge in all aspects of the electronic medical record, including training and monitoring for compliance and timely follow-up. You will be responsible for the daily nurse visit schedule that includes billing and charting in a timely manner. Assist with flu shot and other immunization clinics in the capacity of an RN, duties include Triage, facilitating patient questions and answers and case management: Per Medical Home, HEDIS and Meaningful Use requirements. Responds to actual or potential health problems through case finding and provision of care supportive to restorative life and well-being. To execute medical regimens as prescribed by a licensed provider, including but not limited to, tests, treatments and medications. To participate in quality improvement, in-service workshops, continuing education and peer review as is requested by management and supervision. To engage in Patient Centered Medical Home initiatives, including participating as part of the Clinical Care Team. Any other duties and responsibilities as requested by management and supervision.

Solid computer skills required, experience with Electronic Medical Record software is strongly preferred.


Job Requirements: Graduate of an accredited RN nursing program, with a current New York State license as a Registered Nurse. Demonstrate a willingness to accept direction from providers and VP/ Chief Nursing Officer.  Must possess the ability to work well and with compassion in stressful situations, maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with both patients and co-workers and be keenly aware of the importance of confidentiality in all aspects of the position.

Job Description: ConnextCare provides Oswego and Southern Jefferson County residents with a variety of comprehensive health care and related services. ConnextCare is seeking a Dentist to add to its Pulaski Dental team.

As a Dentist with ConnextCare, you will provide direct patient care as outlined in the employment contract, including diagnosis, treatment and/or referral. Maintain accurate dental records on each patient, complying with all local, state and federal requirements. Supervise the dental hygienist and dental assistants, providing guidance and quality assurance. Assist the dental receptionist providing input on the procedures completed, assisting with the completion of the encounter and computer input. Participate in In-Service workshops, continuing education, quality assurance and peer review. Adhere to all professional by-laws, administrative and personnel policies and procedures. Sign and co-sign any and all forms necessary in the daily operations of the department. Work closely with the Chief Executive Officer in improving efficiency and productivity. Participate in the development of goals and objectives and various audits to monitor that these goals and objectives are being met. To engage in Patient Centered Medical Home initiatives, including participating as part of the Clinical Care Team. Other duties and responsibilities as requested by the Chief Dental Officer and/or Administration.


Job Requirements: Graduate from an accredited dental school with a license to practice dentistry in New York State. Licensed Master Social Worker

ConnextCare is looking to add an experienced Licensed Master Social Worker to its growing Outpatient Behavioral Health team. This individual will work primarily within the School Based Health Centers.

The LMSW will work with the behavioral health providers, medical staff, nursing staff, management team to assure clinical quality of the highest standard. This position counsels patients with emotional, developmental and/or personality problems, referring severe cases to appropriate community or medical agencies. Must have the ability to carry full patient load, including all necessary documentation. Complete other duties and responsibilities as requested by management and supervision. Supervision provided. Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and electronic medical records (EMR) strongly preferred.



Job Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited health institution with certification in NYS, Masters Degree with adolescent experience.
