Kathy A. Ellis Scholarship

ConnextCare is pleased to offer the Kathy A. Ellis Scholarship to support individuals pursuing education in the field of nursing. This scholarship provides financial assistance to qualified applicants who are either entering or continuing a nursing program.

This scholarship is awarded annually in memory of Kathleen A. Ellis, the first Nurse Practitioner in New York State. Ms. Ellis was widely recognized in our community for her dedication to serving rural populations. She practiced at Northern Oswego County Health Services, Inc. (now ConnextCare) in Pulaski and Mexico. Her legacy continues to inspire future generations of healthcare professionals.

Applicants must be enrolled in or accepted to an accredited licensed practical nursing, registered nursing, or nurse practitioner program to be eligible.
